Door keypad

  • How to unlock

Enter the 4-digit door code and rotate the thumb-turn clockwise to unlock the deadbolt. Then, turn the door handle (below the keypad) to open the door.

  • How to lock

Close the door. Press the Schlage button and rotate the thumb-turn to the left to lock the deadbolt.

  • Error

If code is entered incorrectly, the Schlage button will blink red and beep twice. If this happens three (3) times in a row, the keypad will lock up.

How-to

  • Nest

The Nest Thermostat is located just below the wall shelving above the record player and games.

To change temperature, simply turn the side of the Nest left or right.

Temperature will be locked between 72° and 85° during hot months.

Reaching desired temperature requires adequate time especially during summer months due to extreme heat. Lowering the thermostat to 50 degrees will not cool the home faster.

  • Mr. Coffee

    No coffee filter needed!

To use, open lid and fill with water. Add coffee to reusable filter. Press Brew Now to start brewing or Brew Later and setup a time for when you want to brew. The Strong button will slow down the drip and make the coffee darker.

  • BBQ Grill

Before use, locate the propane tank in the cabinet underneath the grill to make sure it is not empty and the gas valve is open. If the tank is empty, we have extra tanks in the garage.

Turn the propane tank’s valve counter clockwise to open or clockwise until it stops to shut off.

To ignite the BBQ, press and hold the ignitor button (battery icon) while simultaneously depressing and turning the first knob counter clockwise to the flame icon. After the first range is lit, repeat to turn on the rest of the ranges.

BBQ

  • No Propane Needed

For your convenience, the BBQ is hooked up directly to natural gas ready for immediate use.

  • How to turn on

To start the BBQ, press and hold the ignitor (battery icon) button while simultaneously depressing and turning the first knob clockwise to ignite the first rage. Once the first range is lit, repeat the steps, in sequence from left to right, for the other ranges.

  • Cookware

The BBQ cookware is located in the middle drawer left of the stove inside the kitchen.

Backyard firepit

  • First, ignite the lighter

Before you turn the gas key, first, ignite the long and put it over the firepit. NEVER turn the gas key first then try to light the firepit.

  • Slowly turn the gas valve

Turn the gas key slowly, to the left, until the fire ignites. Turning it too fast and too much could result in a big ignition resulting in burns or injury.

  • Keep flame manageable

After ignition, please keep the flame small and manageable. You may turn it up in small increments if you need more heat. The firepit produces a lot of heat at higher settings and could be dangerous when left at higher settings.

Garage & Trash

  • Extra Propane

Extra tanks can be found inside the garage to the right of the washing machine.

  • Cleaning supplies

Cleaning supplies are also in the garage right to your right (when you enter the garage from the kitchen).

  • Trash Bins

Gray is for regular garbage, blue is recyclables and green for bio waste.
