When you arrive, check yourself using the front door. Once inside, open the garage door to park and unload.
The garage clicker is located on the coffee table in the wooden tray. Upon check-out, please remember to leave the clicker in the tray for the next guest(s).

Please note that we will only send your door code via Airbnb message to the person booking the reservation. If you have friends or family that may arrive earlier, please make sure you pass the code onto them. We will not call, text or message the code to any one other than the person who reserve the stay.
Occasionally, the door can expand, due to weather/humidity, causing friction which can make it harder for the deadbolt to turn. If that is the case, you will need to pull the door toward you, to reduce friction, while simultaneously rotating the thumb turn.

Trash bins
The trash bins are found on the side of the house near the gas and electrical panel.
The black bin is for regular garbage, the blue bin is for recycling and the green is for garden waste.
Gas shutoff
The gas shutoff valve is to shut off the bbq and firepit in the case of an emergency.
Electrical Panel
The electrical panel is directly on top of the trash bins.

Another gas shut off valve is located right behind the bbq just in case.
Fire Extinguisher
The fire extinguisher is located to the right of the refrigerator.
Outdoor Lighting
For your safety, landscaping, and pool lighting will be automatically controlled to turn on at sunset and off at sunrise.
All lighting in front and side of the house is also set to auto-on at sunset and off at sunrise.
Fan remote
The fan remote is located in the living room, on the wall, next to the front door.
Remotes
Garage clicker, tv and record player remote are located in the wooden tray on the coffee table.
Record player
This player is fully automatic. You do not need to manually move the tonearm, change or press any other buttons.
Place the record on the turntable, close the lid and press PLAY to start the record. The player will automatically stop the end of the record. Press STOP during play to end the music.

Nest thermostat
Nest thermostats, located on the wall at the start of the hallway, don’t have a touch screen. Use it just like a normal thermostat, turn the ring up when you want it a little warmer, and turn it down when you want it a little cooler. Press your thermostat ring towards the wall to see more options.
The thermostat is locked between 68 to 80 degree range.
Reaching desired temperature requires adequate time especially during summer months due to extreme heat. Lowering the thermostat to 50 degrees will not cool the home faster.
When AC or heat is on, please keep doors and windows closed. If you plan to leave for long period of time, please raise (during summer) or lower (during winter) the temperature before you leave
Outdoor Shower
The outdoor shower has both hot and cold water. Right outside the shower, there is a rack that can be used to hang your towels.
Shower Valve
Turn both knobs counter clockwise until water comes out of the shower head. Adjust the two knobs until the perfect water temperature is reached for you.
Caution: Please use caution when turning the red valve as hot water may come run instantly.
BBQ
To start the BBQ, press and hold the ignitor (battery icon) button while simultaneously depressing and turning the first knob clockwise to ignite the first rage. Once the first range is lit, repeat the steps, in sequence from left to right, for the other ranges.
Cleaning utensils
The cleaning utensils for the BBQ is located inside the bottom cabinet of the BBQ.

The utensils for the bbq can be found inside the top drawer to the right of the stove.
Ignite the long lighter first
Before you turn the gas key, first, ignite the long lighter and put it over the firepit. NEVER turn the gas key first then try to light the firepit.
Turn the gas valve slowly
Turn the gas key slowly, to the left, until the fire ignites. Turning it too fast and too much could result in a big ignition resulting in burns or injury.
Keep flame manageable
After ignition, please keep the flame small and manageable. You may turn it up in small increments if you need more heat. The firepit produces a lot of heat at higher settings and could be dangerous when left at higher settings.
